Levels, effects and the master mix
Master, Mute/Solo, Brightness, Space and how to read the output meter.
Balance levels first
Master controls the whole output; instrument levels set the balance. AirBeat mixer level and pan affect individual drum tracks. Mute silences a track; Solo keeps the chosen tracks.
Arrangement has its own track Mute/Solo controls. For a missing part, check both levels of control, its Jam sequencer enable switch and composition blocks. Zero Master silences music without stopping transport.
Instrument and block effects
Reverb adds reflections, Delay rhythmic repeats and Chorus movement and width. Enable an effect, then adjust its amount. Compare at a moderate level.
Local chord-block effects replace AirChord effects for that block, including captured notes. Disabling local effects restores following the instrument. A previous effect tail may continue naturally into the next block.
Two shared mix controls
Brightness softens high frequencies; Space adds short stereo reflections. Both affect AirBeat, AirBass and AirChord in either workspace. Original settings are 100% / 0%; Original sound restores them.
Adjust them while playing and compare with their separate Undo/Redo. Projects store positions, not movements. WAV and live audio retain the resulting sound; MIDI retains notes only.
Read the meter accurately
Expand the output meter in View & sound. L/R show current level; Peak holds the highest measured peak. Reset output peaks starts another measurement.
PRE ≥0 means a high level was sampled before the limiter: reduce Master or instrument levels. This is a sampled digital meter, not LUFS or true peak. Visible signal does not confirm the correct output device is selected.
