Online music sequencer: turn a loop into an arrangement
AirStudio connects AirBeat drums, AirBass basslines and AirChord harmony in a block-based Arrangement. Use it to turn a short loop into a structured musical sketch, with one tempo and transport for all three instruments. Everything runs in the browser without a server-side project account.

Turn two loops into a composition
- Prepare a drum pattern and a chord phrase in Jam, then switch to AirStudio. Keep a downloaded Save backup before substantial edits.
- Select a drum block and use Capture AirBeat. Select a chord block and choose Capture AirChord for a step phrase, or Capture AirLooper for recorded notes. Captures are independent copies, not live links.
- Move, duplicate or split blocks to create sections. Use the start bar and loop range to rehearse a passage. A chord block can have its own sound, key, level and effects.
- Press Play in the global transport. Pause keeps the position; Stop resets it. Use the project's export controls to download WAV audio or a MIDI file for further editing.
What each sequencer does
AirBeat's 16-step grid makes a one-bar drum pattern. AirChord's ChordSequencer makes a one-bar chord pattern with rests and ties.
Arrangement places independent drum, bass and chord blocks across a composition. Blocks can be copied, split and edited; Undo and Redo help you compare changes.
In AirStudio, the studio owns BPM and playback. In Jam, the instruments remain available for live experimentation and AirLooper recording.
Build contrast without starting over
Use your main drum loop in the first section, duplicate it later, then capture a quieter variation for the opening. Keep one chord phrase and change a later block's sound or effects. Listen to the transition with the loop range before exporting.
Questions and answers
Does MIDI export sound exactly like the website?
No. MIDI carries note and timing data. Drum tracks use approximate General MIDI mappings; instrument timbres and audio effects are not embedded. Export WAV when you need the rendered sound.
How long can a WAV render be?
One WAV render supports up to 128 seconds plus a short effects tail. For a longer sketch, export a shorter loop range or work with MIDI in another music application.
Are my projects stored in the cloud?
No. Browser drafts and saved project files stay on your device. Clearing browser storage can remove drafts; download a project backup with Save. Pattern and sketch links share selected Jam data, not a complete project.
