How AirStudio works
One clock drives all three tracks. Tempo changes join on the next unscheduled beat; arrangement and loop edits join on the next bar. Click a bar number to choose the next start position, then Stop / Play to restart there.
Drag blocks with a mouse, drag their right edge to resize, or use Start beat and Length on any device. Drum blocks snap to whole bars. Blocks on the same track cannot overlap. Duplicate / repeat places a separate copy in the next free space.
Step progressions follow AirChord unless local tonality or sound is set. Recorded AirLooper blocks keep their MIDI pitches and sounds. Each chord block can have its own level and effects; AirChord volume stays shared.
Switch to Jam to use the step sequencers and your retained loop. Backgrounding the tab or audio interruption stops playback; it never restarts automatically. Drafts stay on this device. Save downloads a backup; Open restores a project without starting playback.
Jam is for live playing and source patterns. Arrangement blocks keep separate copies; use Capture explicitly to replace their content. The AirBeat mixer and AirChord volume stay global.

How to sequence
01 / STEPSTap a step to add a hit. Tap again to remove it. Arrow keys move between steps.
02 / GROOVEChoose from 12 patterns. Each loads its tempo and swing. Six tracks offer four sounds each; choose a variant or tap its name to preview it.
03 / UNDOUndo / Redo remembers 32 AirBeat edits, including Clear, presets, sound choices and local settings. Ctrl / Cmd + Z undoes; add Shift to redo. Studio tempo is global and is not changed by pattern Undo. Use Save for a project backup. Each slider drag or held arrow key is one Undo step. Separate key presses remain separate edits.
04 / PLAY TOGETHERStart AirBeat, then play AirChord. Both stay live when you scroll. Stop all or Esc silences both.

AirBeat.ru is a free browser music studio with no account required. Make a beat in AirBeat, add a bassline in AirBass, play chords in AirChord and build a composition in Arrangement. Sound is synthesized on your device; project files are not uploaded.
Getting started and keeping your music
Play starts the composition; Jam opens live playing. Save downloads a full project, WAV the Arrangement sound, MIDI its notes. Drafts belong to this browser: download files before clearing its data.
